Who are you?
Tekr, co-founder at Punk Domains & Iggy Social, web3 social builder
Why do you want to become a badgeholder?
I have been active web2 startups for 10+ years and now I am full time builder in Web3. My drive comes from a deep passion for Web3 Social, Ed-tech, and Entrepreneurship. I’m on a mission to empower and uplift projects in these areas, while advocating for the vital concept of public goods funding and sustainable business models. I’m excited about Optimism and would like to become a Badgeholder to supercharge my involvement in Optimism and RPGF.
What are your areas of expertise?
With a background in web2 startups, I bring valuable insights in operations, business development, and marketing. I’ve been passionately building in the Web3 Social sphere for over a year. Through Punk Domains, we’ve assisted over 10 DAOs and NFT communities in launching their domain names. Currently, I’m focused on creating Iggy Social, a Web3 Social Builder Tool. Excitingly, we’re gearing up to release Opti Social, a web3 social chat app on Optimism.
Who are you?
My name is Banjo Oluwasegun popularly know in Web3 as TheBigMave. I am the COO of Creath Innovations - (A Blockchain Company) and also the Chief of Operations at 1MilliConnect Limited (A Creative Company).
Why do you want to become a badgeholder?
I have gained an immersive interest in the Optimism Ecosystem due to my recent research about the project. Optimism has a vision and mission that aligns with my personal goals and objectives. My decision on growing in this ecosystem will promote my career in the blockchain industry. I recently developed a blockchain product called Creath Art Marketplace - A digital gallery and art marketplace designed on the blockchain to promote sales of authentic art pieces to artists across the globe. I pitched the benefits of Optimism to my team at Creath and we have officially decided to launch our product on OP Stack.

Seeking a challenging role where I can utilize my diverse skill set to drive the execution of projects and contribute to the growth and success of a forward-thinking organization.
I have helped numerous clients achieve their online marketing goals by developing and executing strategic campaigns, optimizing websites and social media for conversions, leveraging data-driven insights, increased traffic, sales, and revenue for businesses.
Why do you want to become a badgeholder?
I would like to contribute my time and experience to build and continue shaping the future of Citizens’ House. I am aware that becoming a badgeholder represents a great responsibility and I am ready to take on the challenge.
As part of the Optimism en Español team and a contributor to SEED Latam, I do not feel it is honest or to receive a badge from Delegate @Joxes or @CryptoChica, considering the new rules for badgeholders in RPGF3.
That is why I am submitting my nomination to become a badgeholder supported by a member of the Collective who considers that my contributions could be valuable.
What are your areas of expertise?
Web3 Education, Digital Marketing, and a broad knowledge of the Optimism ecosystem.
My name is Daljeet. I am a co-founder of openblocklabs.com and we work on using quantitative methods to help protocols grow and become sustainable. We have been working on a number of projects around grant allocation and incentive optimization for Lido, Aave, Sui, Uniswap, etc. We use statistical techniques to understand the true lift of a grant and attempt to quantify the effect a given piece of growth (increase in TVL, volume, etc.) provides in value to the larger ecosystem.
Why do you want to become a badgeholder?
I would like to leverage our team of data scientists and our past experiences to help evaluate impact for Optimism RPGF and provide data-driven lists and attestations to add a layer of data intelligence to the decision making process.
What are your areas of expertise?
Data science, statistics, and machine learning experience to help quantify the value of public goods on the ecosystem.
We’ve also built and provide quant services for a number of the premier DeFi protocols, so I’m pretty well-versed in that space as well.

Hello, my name is Devansh Mehta and I’m a next billion fellow at the Ethereum Foundation. I’m a journalist by training currently working on retroactive funding of investigative reporters based on impact their stories create, like payouts to reporters behind the Panama Papers when those stories result in government investigations/lawsuits/asset seizures.
I want to become a badgeholder to get lived experience of assessing impact based on past work completed. I’m particularly interested in seeing how this process can move beyond a peer-review process, as I’ve detailed in this post on the forum.
My areas of expertise are writing (esp on Twitter), presentations & documentation. I can be reached on Twitter or Telegram @TheDevanshMehta

Why do you want to become a badgeholder?
I am a supporter of Public Goods and the Superchain and want to participate in its Governance and cross-pollinate ideas and opportunities across DAOs.
What are your areas of expertise?
I’m an expert in Nounishd DAOs. I’m a long-time contributor and delegate to Nouns DAO.
I created a Public Goods DAO called Purple that is dedicated to Public Goods on the Farcaster Protocol. We were the first DAO to launch using Nouns.Build and its most successful DAO. We make heavy use of Retroactive Funding. We launched on Mainnet but are currently in the process of moving to Optimism.
I am also a cofounder of ENERGY. Which launched 2 days ago as the first DAO on Zora Network with a goal of funding creative arts and technology projects on Zora Network -

Finally, I’m a member, contribute and helped prioritize and coordinate Nouns Builder support for Optimism, Base and Zora Network.

My name is ZER8 aka Popescu Razvan Matei and I’m a PG maxi since I joined web3 full time in 2020. I worked only for PG aligned organizations since then. Worked for over 1 year and a half with Gitcoin(still a steward), 1Hive(still a contributor) and the TEC.
I’m also Giver at Giveth and donate to public goods constantly and I’ve also founded a free educational concept for romanians called Mafia Creativa. Also co-founded the NFbeez a decentralized, bottoms-up, NFT project based on promoting some communities that stand with the real ethos of web3(mostly based on Gnosis chain).
Why do you want to become a badgeholder?
I really care about public goods and Optimisms vision to fund and empower builders. I want to bring my contribution and want 2 see great projects get funded more! Optimism is very generous at times and I hope I can help signal
What are your areas of expertise?
I’m kinda multidisciplinary and I have experience in: creative problem solving, planning, grant screening, project execution, marketing and building stuff in web3.
I wouldn’t say I’m an expert in grant screening, but I contributed as a reviewer in Gitcoin DAO and then lead the Grant eligibility team at Gitcoin for over three seasons, screened over 3000 grants, trained people to screen grants and helped protect over 1m $ in funding. I kinda developed a spidey sense in relation to grants
Nice; best of luck to you!
I’m a Portuguese graphics designer and web 3 leaner. You can be so kind to check my wok at https://www.artespraticas.com. I’d love to be able to live from web 3 exclusively since I know my work will be pretty much “eated” by AI, but at this moment isn’t possible for me yet. Hope that my last months earching and engaging/participating n dozens of testnets and tasks will have any results, but so far pretty much nothing… Sorry if this isn’t has intended, but also wanted to nintrodeuce myself. Best to you all!
I’m Astro, the founder and writer behind BlockTrend, an independent media dedicated to producing original Web3 content in Chinese. You can find the English version here. BlockTrend was recognized in RetroPGF2 and ranked among the top five in the Web3 community and education category of Gitcoin Grants Beta Round. Additionally, we’ve received a personal endorsement from Vitalik Buterin.
Why do you want to become a badgeholder?
As a native Chinese Web3 participant, I have observed a noticeable resource disparity between Chinese and English content within the RetroPGF ecosystem. Chinese readers often consume English content, while English readers rarely engage with Chinese content. This undervalues the contributions of Chinese resource within the Optimism ecosystem. I aspire to be a pivotal figure within the Optimism ecosystem, well-versed in the developments of the Chinese Web3 landscape, to ensure equitable opportunities and resource allocation for communities of different languages on Optimism.
What are your areas of expertise?

I’m LauNaMu in the web3 world. I founded IEF - Impact Evaluation Framework, dedicated to helping public goods projects quantify their impact using on- and off-chain metrics. I am also a governor at HER LATAM, championing Latin American women builders in web3. Previously, I was a grantee at Semaphore, an Ethereum Foundation-backed ZK Open Source project. I have a strong involvement in the web3 public goods space, and come from a solid FinTech and Public Policy startup background.
Why do you want to become a badgeholder?
I deeply believe we’re on the right track to improve the current public goods funding gap with RetroPGF, but we’re not quite there. I want to contribute to the summoning of the Ether’s Phoenix by ensuring we leverage as much objective data as possible when we talk about “impact”.
I aim to become a badgeholder for multiple reasons:
Drawing from my expertise in public goods, impact evaluation, and metric design, I see an opportunity to enhance the funding allocation process based on projects’ past performances. I believe that through the creation and application of robust evaluation frameworks, we can pave the way for a scalable future of RetroPGF. This, in turn, will establish clear benchmarks for what is beneficial for the Collective, allowing upcoming projects to discern how best to deliver value effectively.
My multicultural professional and personal journey has endowed me with insights into the intricacies of valuing projects across varied geographical contexts. By becoming a badgeholder, I intend to contribute my unique perspective, enriching the evaluation process to ensure diverse projects are appraised holistically and fairly.

My name is Pilar, head of research @ Cryptoversidad. My personal mission right now is to spread DeFi and the financial opportunities to empower us, while at the same time having a critical eye on web3, I don’t want to walk without knowing where I’m going.
Why do you want to become a badgeholder?
I want to become a badgeholder because I want to be part of the experimentation around governance. I want to learn and contribute more than anything else. In my country, governance and public goods are light years away from the philosophy of simplicity and efficiency that Optimism seeks. I want to know other possibilities and build from where I am to spread the vision of Optimism, plus you have very cool NFTs to be a citizen!
What are your areas of expertise?
I started learning about DeFi tools in 2020 and then I started studying blockchain. I am currently involved in research, analysis, translation and writing activities. I started researching at a technical level to expand the knowledge about blockchain in Argentina, but lately the governance issues are the ones that are calling my attention.
Hey! I’m jengajojo , a meta-governor and project manager.
Why do you want to become a badgeholder?
I have spent over two years of my DAO life building public good projects and I’d like to help the optimism collective leverage this expertise to forward the mission of the DAO. As a recipient of the previous RPGF round, I am fascinated by the ability to accurately reward contribution than any other allocation mechanisms! I’d be glad to be able to contribute my time and experience to the collective with the aim of unleashing ether’s phoenix upon the world!
Hello Brahim from Morocco, delighted to reply to you and I greet all those who read my message across the globe. Wow, this gives me a platform where I can talk about things that interest me without people taking me for an alien, since web3 is not yet fashionable in my country… either you are one without wanting to be or you aren’t, and as for my area of expertise, it’s far from web3, but that’s just my area of expertise… I hope to be part of this community and that one day we’ll all be optimistic for a better world.
I would love to express my interest in being a badgeholder in the OP collective.
