Expertise
Takeshi, our lead representative, brings extensive experience in measurement, evaluation, data analysis, and reporting. With years of experience as both a software engineer at Twitter and a senior product manager at a Japanese unicorn startup, Takeshi has worked closely with various stakeholders to define clear objectives, set measurable key results, and implement robust mechanisms for assessing performance.
In the Optimism ecosystem, Takeshi has actively contributed to shaping meaningful metric goals for Mission Requests that align with the Intents for each season. During Season 6 (S6), he reviewed Mission Applications and collaborated with the Foundation to ensure metrics and milestones were well-aligned with the stated objectives. This hands-on expertise enables him to evaluate grant outcomes effectively and confidently.
Reputation
Tané is a trusted delegate platform with a 100% voting participation rate, as detailed on our delegate profile page. As an S6 Reviewer, we reviewed Mission Applications, demonstrating the community’s confidence in our ability to evaluate proposals critically and constructively. Beyond Optimism, we are active participants in other prominent DAOs, including Uniswap and Lido, where we consistently uphold high standards of governance and decision-making.
Impartiality
Transparency is one of Tané’s core values. We consistently support fairness and objectivity in evaluating grant outcomes and ensure that any decision-making process is clear to the community. This dedication to integrity ensures that we contribute meaningfully to the success of the Milestones and Metrics Council.
Alignment
Tané deeply resonates with the Optimism Vision, especially its focus on creating impactful and collaborative initiatives. We are committed to driving progress through our involvement in governance roles like the Grants Council, working alongside other participants to bring meaningful value to the community.
Security
Tané has extensive experience managing secure multisig operations, including those in the context of large-scale governance processes. This includes our role as a Lido node operator, which requires technical expertise and a strong focus on security. We adhere to best practices for multisig management, ensuring reliability and safety in all operations.
Additional value propositions
- Having been an S6 Reviewer, we are deeply familiar with the Mission Applications and their context, as well as Optimism’s seasonal Intents during the season. This background allows us to evaluate milestones and metrics with the necessary context and confidence.
- We have also started working with Emily from the Foundation and Mahesh from Karma to potentially integrate grants operations and evaluations into Atlas, which is being used for RetroPGFs. This integration aims to achieve a more subjective measurement of metric goals for grants, enhancing the precision and effectiveness of evaluations.
Please disclose any anticipated conflicts of interest: If you are a top 25 delegate in another ecosystem, hold an elected position in another DAO, and/or are a multisig signer in another community please disclose here.
We have been active participants in various DAOs, including Arbitrum and other L2 ecosystems. While we are not currently a top 25 delegate or hold an elected position in these ecosystems, we remain committed to transparency. If this changes in the future, we will disclose it accordingly. At present, we do not see any conflicts of interest that could impact our impartiality within the Milestones and Metrics Council.
