Do you have a technical background?: If so, please elaborate
Yes–our team has built multiple public goods in the DeFi space including risk monitoring tools for Aave, Compound, and more as well as developer tooling for the Solana Foundation. Anthias Labs team members have also previously contributed to multiple top DeFi protocols. See more of our public work here.
Please demonstrate any non-Optimism experience you believe is relevant to this role and/or your sub-committee:
Our team at Anthias Labs has shipped grants for multiple DAOs including Aave, Compound, and Euler. Because of this, we understand the other side of the grants process and what current + potential grantees need to succeed and deliver optimal results to the Collective. We understand how to properly assess the technical viability of projects and assist teams in accomplishing their desired project goals.
Have you previously served in a representative (appointed or elected) role in the Collective? If so, please specify which:
N/A
Please outline your contributions, and their impact, to the Optimism ecosystem to date:
Our team at Anthias Labs is primarily focused on risk management and public good tooling primarily around risk. We work closely as a risk partner with Ionic Money, which is building the top money market for yield-bearing assets on the OP Superchain. Additionally, we became an Optimism delegate in May of 2024 via a delegation of 1M OP to more concretely support the Collective in governance.
Please describe your philosophy on what makes a good Mission Application:
A good Mission Application will be structured like a clear paper: it will have an easily understood thesis / endpoint and a clear roadmap that outlines how the grantee will achieve this thesis. A good Mission Application will make clear its value proposition to the Optimism ecosystem and provide clear KPIs to measure its success during and post-development.
What types of Mission Requests do you think will help achieve the Season 6 Intents?:
Via our current work, we are very focused on increasing development of the Superchain and apps on top of/within the Superchain ecosystem. Because of this, we are especially interested in Mission Requests that will involve direct development of key aspects of the Superchain thesis.
Please disclose any anticipated conflicts of interest: If you are a top 25 delegate in another ecosystem, hold an elected position in another DAO, and/or are a multisig signer in another community please disclose here.
