We are excited to announce the opening of applications for whitelisting and mission requests under the new audit mission request, approved by the Token House.
This new process aims to streamline audit requests by enabling eligible auditors to directly apply for specific audits, drawing from the mission request budget without the need for pre-approved budgets. Auditors can now apply to be whitelisted and submit their audit applications simultaneously, making it easier to provide valuable services to projects launching across the Superchain.
How It Works:
- Whitelist Application:
Auditors interested in participating in the program must first apply for whitelisting here. - Audit Application:
In parallel with the whitelist process, auditors can apply here for specific audits, which will be reviewed and approved by the Grants Council. - Projects
Head to our audits hub and contact any of our whitelisted audit providers.
This process is designed to support the growth of sustainable projects and developers in the Optimism ecosystem by assisting promising teams with the cost of smart contract audits.
The whitelisting process is reviewed by the Grants Council special mission and audits subcommittee plus 1 DAB member. The rubric has 5 yes/no questions and applicants must have 5 yes of 5.
Questions:
- Has the applicant provided security reviews for at least one project on Optimism or the Superchain?
- Does the applicant have xp conducting security reviews for EVM smart contracts?
- Is the applicant/company publicly transparent about its security review process and clients?
- Does the applicantโs portfolio or site provide verifiable proof of past reviews?
- Has the applicant demonstrated sufficient understanding of the Optimism/Superchain ecosystem?
