Questions - Regarding Community Calls Follow-ups

I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge your great work centralizing the Optimism Collective community calls information. The consolidated format, with both written summaries and video recordings :clapper:, has been incredibly helpful for staying informed and getting context. :clap:

I have a few questions that might be helpful for others as well:

  1. Follow-up Commitments: Where can we find information on any follow-up commitments made during the community calls, especially when they’re part of the summary notes? Here an example from the Community Call #29: October 17, 2023:
  1. Community Call Recordings: Is there a specific location or folder where we can access all the recordings, besides the thread in this forum? The link for the recording for Community Call #29: October 17, 2023 is not in the notes, and the previous and next meetings had recording links.
  2. Simona’s Presentation: I’m particularly interested in the topic from Simona’s presentation on Collective Values. I only found one post related.
  • When was the follow-up meeting taking place? Are there notes?
  • Is there a trimmed version of the video available that excludes any sensitive information discussed during the referred community call?
  1. Asking Post-Community Call Questions: What’s the best way to ask questions after a community call without cluttering the main thread where the calls are centralized?

I would be happy to talk synchronously about your journey as a host and opportunities.

Thank you for your kind words!

  1. I don’t explicitly have a section to track follow-up commitments. Many times we don’t actually have any, although its a good idea and I may try to add them to a specific section going forward.
  2. The best place to see the calls is that thread. That specific call may have been the one where we forgot to record.
  3. Simona has hosted multiple workshops separate from the calls. If you are interested in them I would look at her post history, I’m sure the recordings are floating around somwhere
  4. The best place to ask post-call questions is probably either in the specific threads of those topics discussed OR in the community call announcement threads.
