Re-designating the User Airdrop Allocation as the Strategic Ecosystem Fund
We are For: This re-designates the 546.9M OP left unused in the User Airdrop allocation into a Strategic Ecosystem Fund the Foundation can deploy for OP Stack partnerships, liquidity and activity incentives on OP Mainnet, and institutional and brand deals. Putting idle airdrop tokens behind a defined growth mandate is a more productive use than leaving them undesignated, and business development is where OP’s competitive position is being decided right now. We would want the Foundation to report on how the fund is deployed so a discretionary allocation of this size stays accountable to the Collective.
