Keep in mind the current state of the program is just a test-batch for recipients of previous velodrome incentives in the form of GovNFTs. So they only people that will actually have the GovNFT’s at this point are those velodrome users/partners.

According to the little I read, one of the benefits for those who have their tokens in Velodrome, now with the govNFT they will be able to delegate those tokens and participate in the governance, is that correct?

Velodrome got a grant where part of the incentives were distributed in the form of these locked OP tokens inside of GovNFTs. So this program is for the rewards recipients in the previous Velodrome program, not necessarily current users of the Velodrome.

ahh ok, I understand, but it would be for this pilot, right? Depending on what they are pivoting at and experimenting with, more options could emerge to obtain the govNFT.

I’m considering getting more involved with OP Governance in the coming months and love this initiative. Question regarding the incentives, and specifically the “If your GovNFT has more than 5,000 OP” part. My Velo races NFT has ~4200 OP, but in the same wallet I have 1,000+ unlocked OP. I am also due 3,000+ in GovNFTs from the last set of races. Would I qualify for the self delegation incentives? In the meantime, I have delegated to Jack Anorak and will complete the other steps.
