Mission Request: Project cross-pollination through gaming

Create a gaming experience that incentivises players to interact with the entire Optimism ecosystem. E.g. unlocking in-game assets based on Optimism onchain activity

How will this Delegate Mission Request help accomplish the above Intent?

  • Providing different gaming experiences that will serve as a portal to learn and interact with the Optimism ecosystem to both newcomers and active users

What is required to execute this Delegate Mission Request?

  • Requirement: Team that has built at least another game before, or a prototype for the proposed mission
  • Requirement: An initial concept of what the game is going to be, and a list of the other onchain interactions and/or partnerships they’re planning to integrate.
  • Deliverable: A playable MVP in which the players benefit from at least 3 other onchain interactions within the Optimism ecosystem (highly encouraged - but not mandatory - to create cross-game partnerships)
  • Deliverable: A community of at least 50 testers who gave feedback to the game at least once.

How should the Token House measure progress towards this Mission?

  • Milestone based, with bi-weekly/monthly progress checks
  • Measure: Project GitHub activity
  • Measure: Number of partnerships announcements with other projects in the Optimism ecosystem
  • Measure: Number of members in the project’s community (Farcaster, Telegram or Discord)
  • Measure: Amount of feedback forms filled

How should badgeholders measure impact upon completion of this Mission?

  • Number of new unique addresses that interacted with more than 3 smart contracts on Optimism
  • Number of non-defi transactions from new addresses
  • Increase in the number of interactions with unique smart contracts in the Optimism network
