I started working in blockchain in 2016, while at IBM and fully transitioned to the decentralized blockchain world in 2017. I began my career at ConsenSys, where co-founded W3bCloud, a Joint Venture with Advanced Micro Devices, in 2018, which deployed custom compute and storage infrastructure for blockchain protocols. Also, I was on the founding team of Cellarius, a collaborative sci-fi universe on the blockchain. Most recently, I founded and bootstrapped SheFi in 2019, which runs educational cohorts, large scale events and community offerings for over 7,000+ women and non-binary folks. I have working at a various parts of the Ethereum stack from decentralized hardware, to software, all the way up to human governance participation.

W3bCloud shut down in 2020, and now my focus is entirely on SheFi.

Technical

Co-founding W3BCLOUD in 2018, a Joint Venture with AMD, and at one point the largest enterprise grade Ethereum miners (and one of the largest supercomputers) in the United States, where I:

  • Supported Ethereum mining infrastructure deployment and operations
  • Architected transition to Filecoin storage infrastructure provision and anchored key partnerships
  • Developed key partnerships in Ethereum, L2s, Staking Ecosystems (like Pocket) and Filecoin ecosystems to work on a variety of infrastructure deployments
  • Partnerned on decentralized infrastructure solutions across multiple protocols in the Ethereum and Filecoin ecosystems
  • Led the research and L2 strategy for the W3bCloud team in 2020 / 2021, including talking with every major L2 in the ecosystem to understand if and where we could partner and advising team on opportunities within the ecosystem if any (big infrastrcuture like us ended up not being needed)
  • Worked to manage the transition of Ethereum from mining to PoS as an infrastructure provider in the space
  • Managed strategic partnerships with AMD and ConsenSys to optimize hardware/software integration
  • Overall, I worked to keep Ethereum and adjacent ecosystems decentralized at the infrastructure layer and worked with many protocols to understand needs for infrastructure, decentralization goals and deployment of hardware

As the founder of SheFi (https://www.shefi.org), I have educated 7,000+ women across 98+ countries since 2020 in Web3 technologies. SheFi’s curriculum extensively covers Ethereum Layer 2 scaling solutions, with a significant focus on Optimism’s architecture, security model, and governance framework. Key areas of instruction include:

  • Technical deep-dives into Optimism’s fault proof system, the mechanics of fraud proofs, challenge periods, and the Bedrock upgrade, which facilitates efficient cross-chain message passing.
  • Governance education, including analysis of Optimism’s dual-governance structure (Citizens’ House and Token House), its mechanisms for collective decision-making, and their role in funding public goods.
  • Security considerations, focusing on the design and implementation of L2 bridge architectures, withdrawal mechanisms, and how these align with user fund safety.
  • Exploration of the Superchain vision, covering its potential to interconnect rollups into a cohesive network while maintaining security and scalability.

Reputation

I’ve established significant ecosystem presence through complementary roles:

  • Building W3BCLOUD into a multi-protocol infrastructure provider serving Ethereum, Filecoin, and other networks
  • Leading technical education through prominent speaking engagements:
    • Led a workshop at Devcon Bogota on the risks of centralization in Ethereum’s node stack from hardware, to client, etc. and taught people decentralized node infrastructure deployment
    • Mainstage speaker at ETHCC 2023 on decentralized infrastructure importance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBE4E3Jougs
    • Featured speaker at ETHDenver 2023 on blockchain network infrastructure
  • Have participated in a number of ecosystem and governance initiatives:
    • Member of Aave Grants DAO (2021), contributing to protocol development decisions
    • Member of Polygon Grants Community Treasury Board (2024 - 2025)
    • Alongside Market Token Steward
    • Backer of Komorebi Collective Fund I, supporting women and non-binary founders in Web3
    • Mentor for blockchain accelerators including Tachyon and Graph Paper Capital
  • Developing key infrastructure partnerships with AMD (hardware) and ConsenSys (protocol integration)

As an advocate for Ethereum’s mission, I have built a reputation for transparency, community-driven innovation, and the ability to demystify complex systems for diverse audiences. My work has been pivotal in promoting awareness and understanding of Ethereum scaling solutions, earning trust and respect across the ecosystem.

Through SheFi’s education programs and summits, I’ve built significant ecosystem presence:

  • Grown global community to 7K+ members across 98+ countries
  • Grown audiences across social platforms where we share educational content, including 19.2K Twitter followers, 10K LinkedIn followers, 6.8K Instagram followers, and 12.5K newsletter subscribers
  • Organized SheFi Summits, all day events focusing on technical, growth, career and community conversations, across North America, Europe and Asia drawing 2.6K attendees across 5 events in 2024, backed by leading L2s, wallets, DeFi protocols, and social platforms

Geographic Diversity

While SheFi operates globally, I personally reside in the United States, contributing to the geographic diversity of the Security Council. My program’s reach across 98+ countries ensures that I bring a global and inclusive perspective to governance and security discussions.

Diversity of Interests
As an independent nominee, I bring unique perspective to the Security Council through SheFi’s global educational focus. I maintain strict independence with no affiliations to current Security Council entities or competing interests.
