So 24 hours ago I was fished for 30K OP. By far my most difficult experience I have gone through in my +7 years of being in the crypto space. Feeling like a idiot with my stomach still turned upside down.
I am considering removing my self-nomination for the security council as I try to repair my confidence and reputation.
Just some advise for anyone that wants it
Don’t let your guard down, one lapse in concentration could lead to you being drained. So always remain vigilant and sceptical when signing tx.
My saving grace was multiple multisigs -Safe wallets- I had generated to keep most of my funds. Unfortunately I had 30k OP in my main wallet, I was using to build my delegates reputation. which has turned out to be a waste. my regret of not moving all my OP into multiple vaults will haunt me forever.
This has been a devastating end of the year for me, an emotional rollercoaster, with self doubt now constantly hammering me down. Stay safe out there.
I am down but not out. Its just gonna take me some time to find my feet again.
