Hello,
I just proposed a fourth version of the Mission Request to develop onchain social games that attract developers to Optimism and I would greatly appreciate your support/sponsorship. This Mission Request is the same as the prior versions, except it has a lower budget that fits within the remaining budget for Optimism Season 6.
You can find detailed posts below that explain the rationale for this Mission Request and describe why it’s important for the Grants Council to support it.

You can find context, rationale, and historical details for this Mission Request in this post.

My primary aim in creating this Mission Request is to support the developers who are building onchain social games in the Optimism Fractal community. You can see the onchain social games, apps, and software that we’re developing at Optimystics.io/tools and a related Mission Proposal here.

You can find a detailed explanation of the budget rationale in this post, which was addressing a community member’s questions about funding justification in Cycle 27. This post waw provides details on why funding this mission request is necessary to maximize benefits for the Collective.

You can find another post here which outlines the significant benefits of supporting onchain social games and urged approval of the Mission Request with the original 250k OP budget. This was written three months ago, shortly after creating the initial version of this Mission Request.

You can watch two videos and explore show notes that my team has produced for more details about our recent work with Missions in Optimism Season 6. Here is the first video and here is the second video.
Together, these posts and videos present a compelling case for why this Mission Request not only deserves its proposed funding but also warrants a substantially larger budget.
Though the 15k budget is much lower than originally requested, it would still be much appreciated and very helpful to potentially provide compensation for the teams of Optimism Fractal developers who are volunteering to build open-source software for onchain social games, such as the Respect Game. These onchain social games enable innovative governance protocols, capital allocation systems, developer tooling, and many other profound benefits for the Superchain. That being said, this Mission Request could also support all kinds of other onchain social game developers.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions or comments. Thank you for your time and consideration.
