The wannabet team is thrilled to be selected to execute on the mission request of developing an onchain social game to attract builders to Optimism. Our game will be a new product in the wannabet family where users make bets on selected propositions of the week and compete against each other onchain. The participants who get the most correct will win that weeks collection of OP, you can see our post here.

The wannabet weekly tournaments will be called Jelly Beans!
Jelly Beans is providing weekly betting tournaments in the way of social guessing games inspired by the classic “How many jelly beans are in the jar?” Players can submit predictions to questions with unknown future onchain outcomes, like “How many new Farcaster IDs will be registered next week?” after the prediction period ends, the winners are those closest to the correct answer without going over. The pot of OP, stated at the start of the round, is distributed to the winners. All questions, submissions, and winners are transparently recorded onchain on OP Mainnet.
There will be multiple games running concurrently each week on different onchain topics!
We’ll be releasing soon but in the meantime we’re getting the word out on X and Farcaster so please help us by sharing!
