Hi, my application is in the name of āDerbygold.ethā. I filed appeal as well. I strongly believe the reviewers misread or overlooked a rule and applied it as a blanket ban. The RetroPGF rule states that no grants will be provided for transaction/bridging. It applies if any Bridge dapps had applied for grants. But, my application was all about educational meetup. I mentioned about transaction to prove my impact.
Having reviewed 1200 applications myself as a Senior Grants reviewer at Polygon, you can accept or reject my application, but it shouldnāt have gone misinterpretedā¦

This is a bit confusing. You are wanting RetroPGF on Optimism for the grant review work you did with Polygon?
lolzā¦no serā¦ The IRL In-person meetup was on Optimism where we imparted knowledge about OP. The grant request was for that. But my application was rejected erroneously due to a ambigous rule which was applied as a blanket ban by OP reviewers which i humbly request them to revisit.
Earlier, i worked with Polygon as a reviewer. I mentioned this to say that at tyms newbie reviewers do misinterpret few rules. Rules get misconstrued due to hurry or inexperience or ambiguity. Itās a learning process. Hope this helps.
