The “***” in the text indicates an important footnote, which we made sure was clear before the CoCC budget was proposed and which is consistent with guidance about the Code of Conduct Council being best suited to Retro Funding given when the original budget was proposed last Season.

Given the reasons for rejection pertain to the budget, an alternative budget proposal could be voted on in Special Voting Cycle #23b, according to the usual process. Elections for the Code of Conduct Council would then have to occur outside the regular election period.
If an additional proposal is not made, the supportNERDs will be responsible for the Rules of Engagement, rather than any elected Council.
