GM, Kent here from Agora with some exciting updates to Optimism’s Governance app.

Speed Improvements to Proposal Pages

After a slow experience during the Vote 32 of 2025 we optimized both the backend and front-end to increase the speed of proposal pages by 2-3x.

Easier to see Threshold and Quorum

We had the proposal threshold hidden with a hover event that made it really hard to find on desktop and nearly impossible on mobile. We changed that and brought it front and center.

Who Hasn’t Voted

We had a bug in our Who Hasn’t Voted code which has now been fixed, so it’s easy to see who has yet to cast their vote on a given proposal. If we know how to reach the delegate, we put that information there too.

See your voting power at the time of the vote

It’s not always obvious to know how much voting power you are voting with. This is because the voting power for a delegate for Optimism is taken at the block that the proposal is created. This differs depending on your Governance system, so it can get confusing. We now show you how many votes you are about to vote with. We also include a helpful tooltip for folks to learn more.

Dozens of backend improvements

Redundant indexers, faster DB caches and other data layer items that make the pages more stable and faster than ever.

Make you subscribe to this thread for future updates, and reminder that we are starting to collect feedback here: Agora Optimism Governance Feedback.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

At the risk of cluttering this thread, just wanted to say this is good disclosure and also helps make everyone aware of the work Agora does. Thank you.
