Hello everyone! I’m Eve, excited to nominate myself for the Season 6 Code of Conduct Council. I am new to the Optimism ecosystem as I have been on the lookout for opportunities to integrate my passions for meditation, energy healing & effective human collaboration into web3. I am aligned with Optimism’s vision to fork capitalism & build an equitable internet, & I would be honored to serve on the Council. Thank you for your consideration.

If so, what was the most impactful learning you took away from this training?:
Conflict is not something to be avoided or feared, but embraced as a motor for change & growth. By embracing conflict & tools for constructive conflict management like transformational platforms, communication, active listening & mediation, we can develop resilient DAOs, ecosystems & protocols in web3. Effective conflict management is essential to the success of the web3 movement since conflicts are inherent to human nature & have occurred throughout history. Effective conflict resolution is ultimately a journey of the heart which must be at the foundation of the technology & tools we build to create an equitable internet & bright future for all.

  • meditation teacher certifications including Ananda Meditation Teacher & Sura Flow Meditation Coach
  • energy healing certifications including Reiki level I & advanced chakra study
  • consult with web3 teams to implement meditation & energy work as collaboration tools through my company, Apple Tree Meditation
  • hosted meditation workshops in web3 conferences/events including MetaFest, Regens Unite Berlin, ReFi Week @ Traditional Dream Factory & MetaCamp
  • hosting Graviton study group for ReFi DAO local nodes
  • web3/blockchain education through Kernel, SheFi & ReFi talents programs
  • I bring my lived experience as a woman in predominantly male tech & web3 spaces
