Zora, Mode and Metal are a step closer to Stage 1
This week Zora, Mode and Metal transferred ownership of upgrade keys over to the Security Council. This brings these OP Stack rollups closer to Stage 1 decentralization, where a council with team members and outsiders govern upgrades for each Superchain rollup.
Superchain Research Competition is on!
The Superchain Research Competition is organized by Superchain Eco in collaboration with PrimeDAO. To participate, submit your blog exploring topics on OP Governance and tokenomics.

Security Council Nominations – Last week!
Last week to submit your nomination for the Security Council!
Candidates that meet the criteria of reputation, alignment, and technical competency, among others, may self-nominate until August 14th. Each nomination must then receive approval from 8 of the Top 100 delegates by August 19th.
Elections will take place during Voting Cycle #26, 6 months before elected members take their position. To self-nominate, follow instructions on this post.
Code of Conduct Council Election Results
@Oxytocin, @fujiar, @Pumbi, @alexsotodigital and @CryptoReuMD have been elected as members of the Code of Conduct Council. Members will join @juankbell, Council Lead.

Mediators will manage early signs of conflicts or advanced conflicts within both the Token House and the Citizens House, as referred by supNERDs, govNERDs and the CoC Council. Applicants should be experienced in conflict resolution, de-escalation and mediation.
