[FINAL] Fueling RetroPGF Growth through Education, Collaboration, and Active Marketing

I love this. This is what being bullish on yourself looks like. Way to go.

This is a perfect candidate for RPGF, the fund will get to the team faster, no strings attached, and KPI on how the team developed (impact = benefit) will be clear like the highlights Anamarijab.eth is adding on the replies.

NFT minters could get added to various attestation projects in the future and be one of your biggest KPIs Iā€™ll suggest focusing on that.

Good job.

Appreciated this rundown. I think this tells me a few things.

  1. This is a down-the-middle candidate for RPGF. Youā€™ve already done the work and now itā€™s up to the community to determine how much impact it will have had.

  2. Youā€™ll need to revise upward some of the milestones, as now youā€™re already guaranteeing yourself payout for work youā€™ve already done. Youā€™ve already had your 30 significant conversations, so perhaps try to shoot for something more oriented toward impact. Which is great because now that will be more verifiable. Leads, for instance.

  3. There remains some confusion in some of these asks. You ask for 5k for merch here and then another 8k for more merch later on, including design? This seems like unnecessary overlap unless there are some significant changes planned for merch design, in which case this seems like some unnecessary spend.

  4. Now i want ot know what the content of these courses will be. Do you have an eample of what sort of shape this course will take?

  1. For sure, we will consider applying for RetroPGF.

  2. With regards to the KPIā€™s, at this point I donā€™t believe the process allows us to change the KPIā€™s we mentioned in the Milestones, since the voting process already started. However, weā€™lll definitely keep track of the leads we gained from both events and share extensive KPIā€™s that are relevant to each milestone in more detail (especially since we gathered more feedback on the ground and now know more about what is relevant to measure).

  3. The 8K budget for swag is primarily intended for the development and establishment of a swag shop that offers a variety of merchandise items. This includes not only the design aspect but also the establishment of a fully functional platform where supporters can access and purchase a variety of RetroPGF merch items. Based on the interest expressed by the projects that visited our booth and received RetroPGF funding in the past round, it is clear to us that there is demand to purchase RetroPGF swag outside of conferences, which is why we think a dedicated swag shop would be great for RetroPGF.

  4. Regarding the content of the courses, we plan to do them with a strong focus on public goods, specifically highlighting the principles and benefits of RetroPGF. The courses will delve into the concept of public goods, explore how RetroPGF contributes to their development, and provide practical guidance on leveraging RetroPGF for funding projects in the ecosystem.

First and foremost, we would like to express our gratitude to all the members of the Alliance for preparing this proposal. The majority of the members being from the Giveth team gives us great confidence.

As ITU Blockchain, we vote in favor of this mission. We also participated as ITU Blockchain in RetroPGF 2 and earned 26.4K OP. We are ready to be part of the dedicated Twitter account for RetroPGF and produce various content (interviews, roadmaps, etc.). We will strive to attend the Funding Commons event during ETH CC. If there is anything we can assist with throughout ETH CC week, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Thank you for making the adjustment to the budget requested. However, Iā€™m not able to vote for this proposal since the amount is still too high for me and Iā€™m especially not sure on ROI for that amount spent on sponsorship/booth/travel at those events

Thanks for reviewing it again. Weā€™ve made two adjustments, but this is the lowest amount we could reach while considering the milestones mentioned. We respect your decision on whether to vote for it or not.

Thank you so much for your kind words and support. We greatly appreciate your vote in favor of the mission proposal. Would be amazing to meet you in person at Funding the Commons and do an interview if you are up for it.

Of course, we would love to interview you, but because we are students, the ticket price is too high for us (we bought our France flight ticket for 25 euros hahaha) If anyone from your side or the governance forum wants to help us to arrange a ticket, we would not say no

Well, we didnā€™t make the grant process, but as was said many times we will push forward with hopes to be rewarded by RetroPGF!

The reason why we love crypto itā€™s that we always have another block to save more data and we are going to do it again. Iā€™m sure that we are going to help to keep the RPGF on the direction of the Giveth universe

Having this initiative, and a collaborative Academy lesson on the topic, retroactively funded based on impact is a great opportunity to amplify our message. Weā€™re with you on this one, Giveth!
