I have read and understood the Delegate Commitment Process: Yes
I understand that becoming a delegate is a significant commitment: Yes
My reasons for wanting to be a delegate:
I am applying as a Connext representative for the Protocol Delegation Program. Keen to proactively support impactful organizations like Optimism that want to create effective public goods, and make sure we can provide the best tools and resources to foster the Optimism ecosystem.
My view on the Optimistic Vision 135:
positively impressed by the North Star that has been agreed on: many of the projects I worked on in the past, while being extremely impactful, were struggling to pay the bills.
I am excited to be able to shift this dynamic together with the Collective.
My view on the first three articles of the Working Constitution:
We are pioneering new territories in the democratic process of creating sustainable, decentralized, public goods. A first phase must include a trial and error approach. It will be critical, though, to constantly monitor, measure, and evaluate what works and what doesnât to refine experiments in a positive loop.
The bicameral structure is very fascinating, and although I understand the need for an initial steering entity, I am excited to help the Collective develop in the areas of governance, public funding, and impact measurement.
I met and worked with people at the Optimism Foundation and I am confident they act in the best interest of Optimism as a public resource.
