Hey everyone, I’m beskay. I’m an electrical engineer and got into smart contract development ~4 years ago. Below is my self-nomination template.

  • Started working as a Smart Contract Engineer in early 2021
  • Following the Optimism/Superchain ecosystem since 2022
  • In-depth DeFi knowledge due to 4 years of experience as a Developer and Advisor for various protocols

Experience
From newest to oldest:

  • Lead developer at Arbius.ai:
    • Implemented staking and vote escrow contracts/tokenomics inspired by Synthetix’ StakingRewards.sol and Velodrome’s vote escrow architecture
    • ~$10M TVL as of now, close to 40% of circulating supply is locked a few weeks after launch
  • Developer at a Perp trading protocol on Arbitrum:
    • Worked on trading logic and performed internal audits of the whole codebase
  • Developer at a Yield aggregator on Metis:
    • Conducted internal audits and supported the lead developer
    • TVL was ~$200M at peak

Additionally:

  • Working on evm-runners, a CLI game with EVM-based challenges
