GM! I believe that rather than dividing the mission into parts, they mean increasing the budget to 70k OP, for example, and allowing two teams to apply to try in two different municipalities. At least, I think for this time, it should all be in one, and in future iterations, if this succeeds, it can be made more modular.
GM! I believe this Mission Request has also generated good engagement and garnered a lot of interest. I’m tagging the delegates who signed up to review different Mission Requests, and I would appreciate it if you could review one more mission. In case you’d like to see this project built, please provide your approval as a Top 100 delegate before the deadline at 19:00 GMT. Thank you!

Sure, that works for me!
Developing real world application for concepts pioneered by Optimism Governance such as RPFG/QF could be an interesting experiment. As this proposal has garnered a good bit of engagement so far, it can move to the voting stage.
I am an Optimism delegate with sufficient voting power and believe this proposal is ready to move to a vote.

Great idea! Interfacing Optimism with real-world use cases is key for the ecosystem growth.
Suggestion: after a research/POC/initial MVP is done for Croatia it’ll be amazing to integrate this PGF Infrastructure to more ZK Identity protocols that are specific for each country/municipality.
In a privacy preserving way users could prove a government identity for a specific municipality. Projects that immediately come to mind to integrate are:
- Anon Aadhaar: prove Indian and location residency (among other things) anonymously
- Same with Taiwan DID
- Likely the same with Holonym
Other protocols to keep in mind although a bit more general that might cover a country-but-not-municipality scope are:
Hi Julian, I am not sure what I need to do to move it to vote.
Building a tool is great but that doesn’t guarantee in any way that it will be used. I deal with government agencies frequently and they are still using mail and fax machines. I don’t see this type of infrastructure being adopted anytime soon so I’m not giving this one my approval but wishing you the best!
Done! I’ve updated the proposal to accommodate multiple applicants (2).
Could you please update your approvals?
@AdvantageBlockchain @cpoetter @web3magnetic @PGov
Nothing against the proposal, goal is to fix a real world existing problem and proposal is well defined but I believe we, crypto as a whole. are not there yet. Gov work is slow and they dont like changes, public sentiment around crpyto is still negative and like Katie mentioned above i dont see such project being adopted by any gov in year to come.
If that’s your concern, I’d suggest we protect ourselves from funding something that will then just get shelved by requiring proposals to already include an agreement with or expression of interest from some government or governmental institution. If there is no such proposal, then the money won’t be spent.
We approve of the new updates.
Hi @tomislav my mistake – I was looking at a tracker with information that had not yet been updated. You are indeed ready to move to a vote.
Approving the update to allow for 2 applicants.
We agree with Katie here! We wish you guys the best, but cannot give our approval.
We approve the update as well.
Hey @AdvantageBlockchain can you also review changes and provide your approval? Thank you!
Since @AdvantageBlockchain did not respond, I have reverted it to the version that received 4 approvals. This means it is open for one applicant, and the baseline grant amount is 35k OP.
The Grants Council has opened early submissions as an Indication of Interest for this mission request here
For your application to be considered, the Mission request must pass the Token House vote on February 14th. Submissions will not be considered if a Mission Request is not approved on the 14th.
I’ll follow closely this mission proposal, with interest and affection. It could be a tangible embodiment of the Optimistic vision. I’m hopeful that it will take us far.
I understand that the proposal considers a diversity of public goods funding protocols and mechanisms. Regarding the RPGF component, Have you considered leveraging the easyretropgf.xyz tools?
