As the author of this proposal, and as a member of the Grants Council, we are recommending this Mission Request be retired.
Justification: The complexity in administering Parts 2 and 3 of this package of Mission Requests is considerably less than anticipated, and protocols have indicated much of the work can be outsourced to applicants for Parts 2 and 3 as a condition for approval.
This would free up additional budget for additional Mission Request mid-Season above and beyond what is already listed on that proposal.
