# Week of January 2, 2023

## Summary

Since the deadline for applications for Grants Council Lead, Reviewers, and protocol self-nominations was [extended to January 11](https://discord.com/channels/667044843901681675/968498307913637919/1059881330676072539) , a number of new folks (and groups) have put themselves forward for the role of Reviewer. Too many to list here, but [take a good look now](https://gov.optimism.io/t/grant-council-reviewer-nominations/4372) as voting for Reviewers will begin this week. Similarly, protocol delegation self-nominations are [coming in strong](https://gov.optimism.io/t/protocol-delegation-self-nominations/4357).
