We’re pleased to share the results of **Cycle 45** , continuing the Audit Grants program under **Season 8**.

## Highlights

### Adjustment Period

Cycle 45 saw strong application volume but continued budget pressure. While several technically solid submissions were received, limited remaining budget constrained approvals.

### AI Filtering

AI-assisted checks supported initial triage, particularly around audit scope sizing, cost efficiency, and repository completeness.

### Review Focus

The Council continued to prioritize projects that:

- Are open source and Superchain-aligned
- Demonstrate clear ecosystem impact
- Actively co-fund their audits
- Maintain realistic OP-to-scope ratios
- Are underfunded relative to requested audit cost
