At this stage, applications are mainly being reviewed for completeness, and nothing at this stage should be construed as support or opposition by any members of the Grants Council.
One piece of feedback is that the grant size requested seems very large for a project that has not yet launched. In order to make the application much stronger, I would suggest drastically reducing the grant size OR apply again in a later round once you have some initial traction. Remember, if you get a smaller grant and things go well for the protocol, it is always possible to apply for a grant again.
Second is that the milestones seem good but it would help to define them a little more explicitly. What is the source of data for 25% of front-end operators? For more guidance on milestones, check out this page: Milestone Assessment . There needs to be a specific measurable metric that we can use to distribute the remaining portion of the grant.
